If you could live anywhere and anytime in any part of any Sci-Fi universe, where would you live? Why?

I'd like to live in Gotham City, but for one bizarre reason.

If I'm going to be harassed by criminals, at least both of the villains and heroes are real characters. None of this generic "Superman" crap.

I want characters who have dealt with deaths of parents, like me. I want characters who went evil not because of greed, but because something genuinely wrong happened to them along the way.

Plus, they're all hilariously-wicked villains. See "The Joker."
